Perhaps but there are how far away was this guy from the cop who shot him and was he threatening anyone? It just seems to me that the cops today are all too ready to take someone’s life, and that’s a problem.

Hollow points, frangible bullets, etc, are essentially what they used to call Dum-Dum bullets, designed to KILL the target, not just wound it. They are unlawful for use in warfare because they are so “terrible.”

everybody i know carries JHPs or frangibles because they want to avoid a situation like this. terrible damage equals fewer shots equals safer bystanders

I should have used the /s tag. We have heard so much about soldiers returning and being processed with PTSD, and now being deemed mentally unfit to handle guns, etc. It seems this should apply to LEO as well, just to get some pushback to this stupid development.
