The government will pay for it, he says. And he has repeatedly praised single payer, socialized health care systems.
It works so well that whenever possible, Canadian doctors also have practices in the United States and their Canadian patients visit them there.
.
My biggest gripe is that Trumpets don’t really like Trump for what he proposes, they like him for what they imagine he will really do rather than what he says he will do.
Immigration is the big one.
Trump promised to send them out and then bring them back in with amnesty. The trumpets have erased the amnesty part, as though it doesn’t exist.
.
HUGE SIGHS... your so right.
.
>> “I can see no wrong in that.” <<
.
But that has been the case for 40 years.
That is his smoke screen that he diverts to, rather than discuss his single payer plan that he proposed.
.
.
>> “We want a debate!”
“Trump and Cruz debate!” <<
I agree, and that is why he bailed on the RNC debate. He didn’t want to get trapped into debating Cruz on matters of substance.
Megyn Kelly rushed in to give him cover on that, and they’ve played that drama to the max.
.
He said today “not single payer”
No, he wasn’t pushing them in July. He was trying to explain his previous position. He said at the time he didn’t think that was right for the US and that he wanted a free market replacement of Obamacare.
Don’t pay attention to claims like this. If “the government will pay for it all”, then it amounts to single payer in a prettier package.
That's not true. TPA cloture passed by three votes if I remember correctly.
.
Sorry, no.
He plainly said he admired Canada and Scotland and he hoped to do the same here.
Touchback Trump ought to make beach sandals his official footwear.
Trump has addressed this issue at length in his over 60 campaign rallies.
If you refuse to listen to them, whatâs left to be said?

Something in writing instead of whatever applause line plops into his head at that moment.
That’s exactly what the 0bama people were doing in ‘08. That kind of projection can be dangerous.
.
We’re talking about Trump’s big foibles here, not Cruz.
.
.
Yes, in every way that I can see, Trump is Obama with white face. ( not really, but that is the way the Trumpets have created him)
.
I ask this question honestly - who's on the high level team to address these ills? Has Trump put that list out? Icahn is only going to offer advice, no way he steps away from his empire to take a role.
I understand your willingness to take a leap of faith here, the GOP has been sowing seeds of doubt for nearly three decades now.
I'm a Cruz guy because I feel he's the most principled Conservative in the race (his last debate was very mediocre I'll admit), but his record is more aligned to the principles I value. So we'll see how it shakes out then.
Why didn’t he SAY what he wanted? Because from what he said, a single payer system is likely. Otherwise, he just described what we already have.
>>In what respect is Trump - more so than any other candidate - going to make us “stronger”? <<
The war that Trump has identified is about culture, and borders and the economy . . . but it is even more than that: He is the one who is demolishing political correctness, a WMD of the progressives. He is the one that has defeated the media army. (Rush is great on this topic.) He is the only one that had the guts, originally, to say we need to deport all illegals and ban the Muslims. I’m still not sure anyone else is fully on board.
On trade, Trump stands alone, unfortunately. I think the others, including Cruz, are just too compromised to be relied upon.
The socialism that has taken hold in this country is Full-Spectrum, permeating far below government programs, into the schools our small children attend as well as of course their universities. Then there is the media. I believe this is a fight that goes far beyond votes and vetoes. It is a fight for the heart of America, and it is to the death. I think Trump can revitalize the psyche and the resolve of the nation in a way that is not unlike what Reagan did.
