Only a desperate candidate for an additional debate. And is it fair to leave out the other potential nominees ?
It is against GOP rules to exclude others. Besides, it would only make Trump look weak if he caved to Cruz’s demands.
If Cruz was the nominee, I can see him or one of his flunkies, trotting out some comical request for “a debate every week, until the election”.
At some point, Cruz is going to have to be able to run a campaign, and stop relying on “debates” as being the only thing he can lean on to get attention.
