Germany's eurosceptic right-wing populist AfD party created a storm Saturday by suggesting police "if need be" should threaten to shoot migrants seeking to enter the country.
"We need efficient controls to prevent so many unregistered asylum-seekers keeping on entering via Austria," said party chairwoman Frauke Petry, in comments carried by the Mannheimer Morgen regional daily.
Border police "should be able if need be to have recourse to their firearms -- as laid down by law," the paper quoted Petry as saying.
"No policeman wants to fire on a refugee and I don't want that either. But as a last resort there should be recourse to firearms," said Petry in comments which drew a storm of criticism.
"No policeman would be ready to fire on" migrants, police union GdP said in a statement.
"Whoever wants to deploy such methods clearly wants to suspend the rule of law," said GdP head Joerg Radek. "We have already seen that over the course of German history and we don't ever want to go down that road again."
The head of the main opposition Social Democrat parliamentary group, Thomas Oppermann, blasted "an unacceptable mobilisation of public opinion against refugees while opposition Green Party lawmaker Konstantin von Notz blasted Petry as "irresponsible," not least given a spate of recent attacks on some refugee centres.
Notz said Petry was engaging in "extreme right-wing terrorism" with her comments ramping up anti-refugee rhetoric in a country that has received more than one million migrants in the last year.
AfD, meaning Alternative for Germany, was created as a eurosceptic platform in 2013 but has since veered sharply even further to the right, with some of its leaders voicing support for the anti-Islamic PEGIDA protest movement.
Recent polls give 13 percent support for the group, making it Germany's third-strongest political force behind the ruling Christian Democrats and the coalition partner the Social Democrats.

If one just happens to READ the story, you see that the headline does not accurately portray what the so-called "right-wing populist AfD party" spokesperson said.

One thing is certain though if you follow the stories.
The German people are near the point of revolution the way Merkel and the other socialist leaders have handled this "refugee" crisis.

Don’t threaten to stop the invaders at the border.
Just shoot.
They are not refugees. They are invading troops and enemy Muslim armies should be shot at the borders if they won’t turn back.
Merkel better watch out, Germany is finally starting to have a kernel of a real right wing in the country.
In that situation, I'd favor 16-inch ship's guns, mounted facing the frontier and aimed on a flat horizontal. It should prove a fairly effective deterrent. And also neutralize whoever wasn't deterred.

The instinct to survive is finally kicking in to the general German population who’ve been put into a trance, like the rest of Europe, by their socialist rulers, who’ve blinded them for decades into believing the elitists know what is good for the masses, including their eventual demise. Hey Joerg: Chancellor Merdekel suspended the rule of law long ago - at least for the invaders.
If you can't control your borders you do not have a nation.
If you don't have a nation you don't have Law.
When these people are crossing border in large groups you can not possibly stop all of them and they know it, they know some part of them possibly a large part of them will make it through.
The more success they have with the technique the more they will do it. Eventually you must resort to a display of force or you have surrendered your border and you have lost your country to an invader without firing a shot.
