Ted Cruz's High-Tech Machine Versus Trump's Secret [Grassroots] Army
Breitbart ^ | 01/31/2016 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 01/31/2016 4:55:08 PM PST by Greetings_Puny_Humans

The difference between these two campaigns is is numbers versus local. So the Trump campaign, I think, has done a better job of finding local people in these areas—so they’re activating other people’s networks to turn them out and using that Iowan to Iowan type of effort versus Cruz who I think has a tremendous amount of passionate supporters who have all dropped what they’re doing, come to Iowa, and helped this guy out. So I think at the end of the day, I think they’re going to balance out. I think the Iowan-to-Iowan stuff is a little bit more valuable.

Robinson said that the average person who’s organizing for Trump statewide is over 40 years old and has spent decades living in the communities they are organizing.

“The Trump field staffer, the person who’s organizing certain areas to get out the vote, the average age is over 40 years of age,” Robinson said.

Jim stated in a reply that Cruz was his first choice in the primary, but he would gladly vote for Trump should he win.

I’m sure others read the same thread.

LibbyLuLu always had a screw loose and did nothing but post the same inane and puerile insults about Trump day in, day out, no creativity to speak of, that's why I dubbed her the 'Squawkin' Parrot' because anytime Cincinatus Wife posted one of her predictable and boring anti-Trump screeds, LibbyLuLu would be right there with her rubber stamping "me too'ism" which is why I personally created her very own graphic for her (seen once more, possibly for the last time, be sure to save a copy to your hard drives folks! lol)

Such love expressed toward the most conservative candidate, Jim Robinson’s preferred candidate, Ted Cruz.

If Cruz loses, I will under no circumstances vote for Trump.

So you are saying you will not vote for Trump because you don’t like FReepers dissing your candidate?

You can say that again. They remind me of Clinton supporters Lanny Davis and James Carville...robots who endlessly spout ridiculous talking points.

“If Cruz loses, I will under no circumstances vote for Trump.”

I’m not a Cruz only guy, but I’m with you: Trump = liberal = not getting my vote. I’m sorry - you can’t be a conservative and vote for him.

It’s funny: not voting for the so-called “RINO” Romney is a badge of honor around here. Romney is a million times more conservative than pro-abort, apro-universal healthcare, anti-property rights Trump.

Weird thing about GGG (if memory serves, might have him/her confused with another zotted TDSer) is his/her posting history. I started thinking to myself that I had never seen this individual post before. So I looked at the history and saw the account was an old one... but literally the last time she was posting before she got involved in this race was almost one year ago.

GGG was probably a sock puppet account or maybe working for some campaign.

Wendle was not the first, IMHO, and I can’t ping GGG because he has been banned.

Trump supporter WENDLE made the claim repeatedly on a GGG thread. I'm pretty sure that's where it started.

And it's certainly fair game for a Cruz supporter to report what a Trump supporter, who seemed to be in the know, said.

You don’t know much then. I am not Dem and find your nasty, judgmental proclamation that 80% of us that want our country back are Dem because we support a candidate you don’t is beyond pale.

I have my reservations about Trump, and I have reservations about Cruz. I will vote for whoever becomes the Republican nominee. Most of the negative comments about Trump made here have either been exaggerated or are completely misleading.

If you followed the daily Free Republic Caucus you would be aware that last night Trump had nearly twice the support here on Free Republic as compared to Cruz. So you have now stated indirectly that you believe that two thirds of the people on this site are 80% Democrats. That seems unlikely but completely in character with other statements made by supporters of Cruz.

Oh shut up. I will vote for your guy if he wins just like you will vote for mine, or you can go straight to Hades. Either way, Trump #1 Cruz #2 are the choices here. The crazy old battle ax, who knows?

Your reading skills are lacking at best, and I’m being kind.

Try reading things on here past the misleading headlines that conservativejoy and Isara post.

There is a reason this is a forum, and not just a news site like Dridge.

“GGG was probably a sock puppet account or maybe working for some campaign.”

Indeed. i suspect that’s also true about a handful of other CruzTrolls with old, dormant accounts that suddenly started posting.
