Maybe it’ funny, but the Editor of the Spectator endorsed Trump. They’ve allowed diverse opinions to be expressed on the Trump candidacy at The American Spectator. On the other hand, it could very well be a conspiracy.

I don't care who he endorsed or what he reports. It may be true, exaggerated, all a lie, whatever, it just struck me as odd how similar the phrasing was when I first read it.
