I want my President to protect America, and I want America’s enemies to truly believe the SOB will actually do whatever it takes to get that job done.
I’m not looking for a nice guy.
Cruz, he isn’t perfect, but he is a genuine conservative who has fought for us and we can trust him. Unlike Rubio who has already betrayed us once and Trump who I expect to repeatedly stab us in the back if he is elected.
That said, I'd go for Cruz as well...

I want a President that doesn’t back down,. Puts America first, understands economics, can handle the corrupt media, wants a wall, and see the need to win against Islam. Trump is the only one that can meet this criteria.
Cruz has class and dignity for the most part. But you can’t bring that the oval office if you can’t win the general.
Trump is our best hope given the current choices.
dignity is far down my list. I want someone who will do what it takes to get our country back on track.
If you want dignity elect a Bush or maybe the butler on Downton Abbey.
I value those things as well, but given the climate of the last eight years and where it has gotten us, I suspect much of the support for Trump (part of me as well) might well be because many hope he is going to use a flamethrower instead of a spoon of honey.
I don’t care for Trump, never have, but I will vote for him if he is the nominee.
Like the current jackass we have gives a damn about the first two? The presidency is about popularity. This is the age of facebook, selfies and youtube. You have to win first....then do what you want. Most American’s want that anyway (like it or not). They want to watch reality TV on their supersized TV’s (even the poorest have them ) and play on their phones ( again, even the poorest have them). As long as they are only slightly better off than their poor ass neighbor, they really don’t give a damn what goes on beyond their tiny little circle of awareness. Hence the wildly poplular lottery.
If it doesn’t fit on a bumper sticker, most American’s don’t get it.
Is dignity a prerequisite to overturn money tables in the temple? What is the look of righteous indignation?
