“CNN for RUBIO all the way.”

Because Rubio IS the story. He won the last debate and while Trump and Cruz basically ended where the pre debate polls indicated Rubio is actually in the game now. This thing will probably be over after NH.

Even she agreed what he was doing was a poison pill. Just trying to help you.

Please explain exactly what Cruz did that amounted to a poison pill?

I've seen make the statement, but no one yet has explained what he did.

Trump was classy (except he forgot to thank Ivanka & her husband!)

The real news...50/50 now in Dems! Feel the Bern Billary!

Yeh theo is one of the worst agitators, no matter what thread it’s on. Invokes Jim Robinson’s name often without the courtesy of including him in the ping.

Don’t go away, just mock it. Leaving is exactly what it wants you to do.

Trump is not anti-establishment, a point Cruz will make clear in the next debate.

SamAdams76, your post was the most sensible I’ve seen, after reading 1776 of them.

I never worried about Jeb; I knew he wasn’t popular. I was hoping one of our great governors, Walker or Jindal, would do well, but neither caught the public imagination. Neither of them are a Reagan, although they’re fine governors.

“If Ted wins, he worked hard for it and that’s fine by me.
I agree. Ted poured his heart and soul into Iowa. As a Trump supporter, I don’t consider it shameful if he does finish 3-5 points behind. Nor will I consider Cruz’s performance shameful should he end up losing.

I said at the beginning of the night that if the “good guys” finished with over 50% of the vote, I’d consider the night a victory as it would box out the GOPe candidate (Rubio). As a matter of fact, Carson is holding steady at 10% so we are talking nearly 65% of the vote between Trump, Cruz and Carson. Who would have predicted this a year ago? A year ago, we were all pretty much resigned to a Jebbie Bush coronation and there he sits at 2-3%. He’s not going anywhere.

Although he’s well back in 3rd, Rubio is doing too strongly for my liking. He’s up to 22% right now. We Freepers need to stop taking potshots at each other and turn our attention to Rubio, who will come out of this night with much momentum and will give the GOPe new hope that they can divide us and steal this nomination after all.”

You’re probably right, the polls against Hillary probably also overestimate how well Trump would do.

I just don’t know if he could win.

Our worst matchup in a long time was McCain vs. Obama. Clinton will NOT get the black vote to respond the way Obama could. The fact that Cruz is himself Hispanic with a Hispanic means that there is a high floor of the Hispanic vote he will receive. Cruz will be a MUCH better debater than McCain or Romney. Hillary Clinton, is sickly, old (I mean she is older than other candidates her age), and is looking over her shoulder at the FBI.

Cruz will also get the 4 million practical Christians MIA for Romney in 2012. If Clinton can win in this scenario, it is too late for politics to do much of anything.

They are delaying the Hillary/Bernie vote until after midnight since SHE underperformed.

It is a shame the networks are talking about Rubio’s night vs Cruz’s
hard fought victory.

Cruz was the outright wnner, but Rubio is getting all the love.

I could never voter for Rubio.

“Rubio is all but guaranteed the nomination now. Other establishment candidates will began dropping out boosting his numbers, FOX will be nonstop marketing of Rubio, Cruz and Trump will split the anti-E vote. In other words same ole same ole. America loses, many on our side to stupid to see it.”

Not if Trump drops out and goes back to his tower!

And when I say America loses, I mean Hillary wins. Cruz nor Rubio are alpha male enough to take her on, be honest, you know it’s true.

Did you just see Trump’s pitch perfect speech? He’s pretty happy with second. Rubio is ecstatic.

>>I think we need to band together to defeat Rubio. Trumpkins need to vote for Cruz in NH.

I’ll be switching to Cruz for sure!! The loving Christian Cruz supporters on FR have shown me the light. They acted just like Jesus on the cross when he called down demons to kill all the nazi soldiers and then melted the Gestapo guy. I don’t want to get melted by their version of Jesus! Hallelujah!!
