Disgusting. The Cruz camp is slandering Donald Trump tonight at the GOP caucuses.

The Cruz precinct captain Tim Osborne smeared Trump tonight in Des Moines saying Trump was for abortion and amnesty just six months ago. Six months ago Donald Trump was already running for president. And he’s reading his talking points.

It looks like the Cruz folks will stop at nothing. Sad.

Did anybody call the Carson Campaign to verify the RUMORS before adding fuel to the fire? NO they didn’t. Their actions are indecent and downright filthy slimy politics as usual!

Your attitude is the same as the Taliban saying a woman deserved to be raped because she shows her hair in public.

I agree. Trump MUST win if we are to have any chance of getting our country back. The REAL ISSUES are Illegal immigration, National Security and our failing defense capabilities due to the destruction of our Military, and the ECONOMY. We can’t let China and the rest of the world destroy our remaining manufacturing capabilities, NOR BUY US OUT. FOOLS and Deliberate Assassins have been running our country. This is the last pitch. Either we hit a homer with Trump or we strike out!

Just find it a bit odd that Cruz lies on his twitter and sends out his people to lie and then, “Thank you God!” in his speech.

Not that odd. The sleazy bible thumper has been an American fixture from "Elmer Gantry" to Jim and Tammy Fay Bakker to Jimmy Swaggart, with who knows how many in between. IDK if Cruz did what they say he did. But it wouldn't shock me.

If that is your only issue, you don’t care about the country. Social issues are not going to win this election. ONLY Economic and Military issues matter at this point in our decline. Wake up!

It is a good example at how easily votes can be influenced.I would not listen to “Somebody said....” I’m afraid I am too suspicious by nature and would vote my choice even if he was lying dead on the floor.

More garbage against Cruz; the internet allows it to be manufactured easily.
Looks like it is one guy giving his opinion about Trump with his 2 minute allotted time.
He didnt say nice things about Trump apparently.
Likely not a good way to sway people to your side; but not an organized effort by Cruz.

More sour grapes against Cruz.

“Lied about Trump”

First of all, it wasn’t Cruz that said anything about Trump; it was a campaign person. Secondly, Trump has been a pro-choice, Planned Parenthood supporter as recently as 2015, which is a documented FACT. Thirdly, Trump is on record scolding Romney for being too harsh on illegals in the previous election, among many other pro-amnesty statements and actions done by Trump. So the only lies are from Trump supporters that pretend like Trump is not a raging liberal.

“Lied about Trump, lied about Carson. And I suppose since Cruz is a self-proclaimed saint, the fools believed him.”

The Cruz people keep bringing his religion into the mix. The lying that he, and they, do incessantly is stunning. Since Satan is the Author Of Lies, perhaps Cruz is a Satanist, disguised as an evangelical just to confuse everyone. (Satan, BTW, is also the Author Of Confusion.)

The humor in this story and the Carson story is how many of the Cruz supporters hated what happened in Mississippi a couple of years ago......

And Cruz was the head of the GOP Senate campaign.

Something similar going on here, and a lot of people here will never admit it.

That’s it...he’s DONE!

Just like when he said “New York Values.” And when he sent the “Voter Violation” mailer. I knew those would DOOM his chances, because so many here told me they would.

And when he refused to kowtow to the ethanol boondogglers...DONE, I TELL YOU! Governor Branstad and dozens of FReepers told me so.

And now he’s REALLY done.

THIS time, he’s done for SURE! Nothing up my sleeve........

Hank

On the road with Cruz and Rubio marco rubio FOX GOP debate welders vocational school vstan orig_00001323.jpg Rubio: 'Welders make more money than philosophers' Windham, New Hampshire (CNN)The day after winning the Iowa caucuses, Ted Cruz issued an apology to Republican rival Ben Carson for falsely telling Iowa caucusgoers that the retired neurosurgeon planned to quit the race, calling it a "mistake." Cruz said in a statement Tuesday that his campaign staff saw a CNN report that Carson was dropping out, although CNN had not characterized Carson's actions that way. "Last night when our political team saw the CNN post saying that Dr. Carson was not carrying on to New Hampshire and South Carolina, our campaign updated grassroots leaders just as we would with any breaking news story," Cruz said in a statement first shared with CNN. "That's fair game. What the team then should have done was send around the follow-up statement from the Carson campaign clarifying that he was indeed staying in the race when that came out." CNN reported that the retired neurosurgeon planned to go home to Florida after the Iowa caucuses, rather than flying straight to New Hampshire or South Carolina, where the next primary contests are held. His aides have emphasized that he is not suspending his campaign -- rather, just briefly going home to "get a fresh set of clothes." But the Cruz campaign reacted to the news by incorrectly telling precinct captains — while the caucuses were still taking place — that the move signaled Carson would be dropping out of the race. CNN did NOT report Carson was "OUT" - that came 100% from the Cruz campaign. Doesn't matter now. St Cruz and his slimey crusaders are thrilled with the result of their dirty politics.

Twenty minutes after the caucuses began in Iowa, Rep. Steve King, the Cruz campaign’s national co-chair, retweeted CNN’s Chris Moody about Carson’s break from the campaign trail before New Hampshire’s primary.

“Carson looks like he is out. Iowans need to know before they vote. Most will go to Cruz, I hope,” King tweeted. In another tweet, the congressman said Carson’s next steps were “equivalent of suspending.”

Carson looks like he is out has a far different meaning the Carson left to change his clothes and will be back.

If Carson’s wife heard the Cruz campaign lie. But St Cruz and his slimey crusaders would rather call Candy Carson a liar than admit their oh so Christian perfect did something wrong.

That’s called dirty politics. Interesting how the most “Christian” of the politicians engages in the most sleazy tactics.
