Only a third of Americans are conservative and a quarter are evangelicals.

IA which is 98% white is not really representative of America and neither is NH.

Cruz has his work cut out for him and NH isn’t exactly what any one would call Cruz country.

Cruz isn’t the typical “social conservative” candidate though. He’s got a very credible libertarian streak on taxes and small government. His biggest claim to fame was the Obamacare filibuster, which was much more of an economic issue than a moral one. Cruz is also very credible as being tough on terror, unlike “nice guys” Huck and Santo. Cruz has more cards up his sleeve and isn’t a one-trick social conservative pony.

IA is actually 92 percent white.
But percentages mean nothing. The only number that matters in the end is who goes out on election day and votes.

.
NH plays weather vane.

They like to pretend that they have the Mojo to predict the winner early, so they will follow whomever appears to be the winner.

This time, they are going to have to think.

(good luck on that)
