There are numerous stories out about Angel Barrios who was arrested with Rubio. Supposedly, they lived together for a while.
The park story by itself is not that big a deal. It's the stories surrounding Angel and whether they are true.
oh, C’MON. Why don’t we just have a salvation session and we all admit the worst thing we did Freshman year of college!
More importantly, where did the missing $15 million drug money go from his brother in law and why did he get him out of jail early.
I wish someone could timeline his debts.

The public will forgive a boy from a poor family many things. A multi-billionaire tycoon born with a silver spoon, not so much.
It read on FR that this ex-con brother-in-law lives with Rubio’s mother and that Rubio refused to answer the questions if he was getting money from him.

It may not be helping him get out of jail. He definitely helped him get a real estate license without disclosing he is a relative.
It’s the stories about Angel that are disturbing. I haven’t read Rubio’s autobiography. Did he live with Angel or not?

My understanding is that park was a known hangout for gays after dark. We had a park like that in my hometown. Everyone knew what you were up to if you were caught there after dark.
Has anyone read Rubio’s autobiography. Is Angel mentioned?
I am familiar with this park (I have not been after dark). Never heard of this allegation that it was a gay hangout. Sylvester Stallone and Madonna used to live right near it to give you a sense of the neighborhood that it is located.

I’m not familiar with it at all but I got that after talking to a gay man who lived there during that era. He’s someone I’ve known most of my life. He and other gays flocked down there in the 80’s. Half of his friends from that time are long dead from AIDS. He is a celibate gay who is open about his struggles and his past.
I don’t want to be unfair to Rubio, but I just don’t trust him. Maybe the park thing is nothing. Then again, I read elsewhere he has admitted going to “foam parties” in Miami.
