A 13-year-old girl allegedly abducted and killed by two Virginia Tech students was stabbed to death, according to preliminary results, Montgomery County Commonwealth’s Attorney Mary Pettitt said at a news conference today.
A formal report of the cause of death has not yet been completed, Pettitt said.

Nicole Lovell, 13, of Blacksburg, Virginia -- the city where Virginia Tech is located -- went missing Jan. 27, the Blacksburg Police Department said. Her body was found on Saturday in Surry County, North Carolina, which is near the Virginia border, police said.
Nicole's funeral service will be Thursday afternoon, a source close to the family told ABC News.
Virginia Tech student David Eisenhauer, 18, was charged Saturday with first-degree murder and one felony count of abduction, police said.
Virginia Tech student Natalie Keepers, 19, was charged today with first-degree murder in connection with the case. Keepers is being held without bail. She is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 4 at 9 a.m.
The police said investigators looking into Nicole's disappearance were led to Eisenhauer on Friday night. Eisenhauer was first charged on Saturday with one felony count of abduction, police said. Then after Nicole's body was found Saturday afternoon, he was also charged with murder, police said.
Keepers was charged Sunday with one felony count of improper disposal of a dead body and one misdemeanor count of accessory after the fact in the commission of a felony, police said.
Eisenhauer and Nicole "were acquainted prior to her disappearance," police said this weekend. "Eisenhauer used this relationship to his advantage to abduct the 13-year-old and then kill her. Keepers helped Eisenhauer dispose of Nicole's body."

Evil. One word sums it up and speaks volumes. I’m reminded of a horrific show I saw on the Investigation ID cable channel where some 20 something Satanists in Florida kidnapped a young family and buried them alive, for no stinkin purpose on God’s Earth. Evil, period.
Previously, they were saying that Natalie was only involved after the fact.
Now, she is also charged with murder.
I don't imagine she will be making it to her engineering classes in the morning.

David was arrested BEFORE police found the victims body. What was used for evidence? Was it all social media?
David has stated that the truth will set him free. What is that supposed to mean? He did not kill the girl?

I watched the press conference. The police are amending the arrest warrant. Nicole was murdered the same day she went missing. She was conversing with the male on some type of chat line that is supposedly untraceable for some time. Supposedly the divers are searching for the murder weapon in the pond at Vatech (knife) Also this was planned and Natalie Keepers conspired from Jan. 4th until 27th.
At first it appeared that he had some relationship with the victim, raped her, killed her and called Natalie to help dispose of the body.
Now, it looks like they were both in on the murder.
My guess is that they point to each other as the actual killer.
The police press conference did not mention motive.
Not at all.
What is the motive?
