If you support letting hordes of foreigners into your nation that won't assimilate, then there are "no other issues." Look what's happening to Sweden and Germany.

It's not about applying any type of test to it - it is THE defining issue of our time. We've got to secure our borders and overhaul our immigration process, or there won't be an America.
Abortion is always safe to harp on since it appeals to conservatives but then it is unnecessary to actually mount any real campaign against abortion once in office. It's a social issue you can keep on milking forever and ever.
And I agree with you and Rush. There is very little I don’t like about Rubio, I decided that several weeks ago and am not looking back. I just couldn’t get Trump or Cruz and I think they both have major issues in the general, along with both equally nasty and ruthless. Rubio can and will beat Hillary or Sanders.

94 million Americans not working, manufacturing gone overseas or to Mexico, a million plus legal immigrants allowed each year into the United States, Rubio’s amnesty would allow chain migration which would increase the Mexican immigrants by about and additional 30 million in just a few years... If you want to retain your country, you had better make it a litmus test, or get ready to be dispossessed by third worlders.
So you have no problem with Americans losing their job, going to places where no one speaks English, where the call to prayer is said every morning etc etc.

He was a new guy who thought he could actually work with the democrats. He was so inexperienced (but a potential threat down the road) , the democrats took him out early - before he wised up. They knew no conservative would forgive him for what he did. It would harm him for the rest of his career.
It hurt my opinion of Rubio severely when he pulled the gang of 8 gambit.
I have put him on my back shelf. But beside this one (and a big one at that) I have seen him do anything else that was counter conservatism. Will wait and see which way the wind blows. I am a Cruz guy who would accept Trump. But thinking of it, Rubio would be more conservative than Trump except for the one flaw of amnesty
Roobio is a slick talking, flip flopping, progressive. He is a young John McCain without any battle experience, but better tales. This hyena is Cruz’s biggest threat. Roobio will contribute to the carving of Trump Turkey in New Hampshire, but he will be useless (and dangerous) after that.
Conservatives are better off without Roobio near them.

That's exactly where I am. I don't like what Rubio did with the Gang of Eight, but every one of these candidates is flawed. Rubio has shown a better ability than Cruz to actually pass conservative legislation, like the knee-capping of Obamacare insurance bailouts.
I personally think Cruz is ideally suited to the Supreme Court.
None of the other issues matter if Rubio gives the Democrats a permanent majority with amnesty.

Rubio solid? He can’t even make up his mind if he is Catholic or Baptist! LOL.
Rubio lied all over the place about Cruz. He is an opportunist and I do not and will never trust him.
Rubio has openly supported amnesty and continuing H1B. I will not vote for him anymore than I would vote for Jeb... He’s establishment, he’ll sell America down the toilet for his donors just like the rest and shown he will do it.
Rubio is a non starter as far as I’m concerned.. Trying to argue he is more conservative than Bush? Who Cares.
Looks like the fix is in to push Rubio.
