Cruz apologized for not sending out a retraction once CNN changed its story but that would have been virtually impossible to do since the caucuses had already started by then. In the story you linked, however, CNN lied about what it was reporting that night. That is why you need to watch the video.
If Carson accepts the apology, I’d buy it as well.
If not....well, I’ve experienced “misunderstandings” like that for years, some including apologies and some just left like a turd in the punchbowl.
My best advice to you is just let the thing go until the guys responsible decide how they’re going to handle their little cluster.
