Lol, he’s just controlling the media cycle and disrupting the Cruz campaign.

Cruz and his dirty tricks are probably not illegal. But it’s a good tactic to put him on the defensive.

Telling folks a person has pulled out, when they haven’t is classic dirty pool.... But no one is going to have another caucus over it.. but I agree, its an attention grabbing headline to steal the news cycle back.

Trump and his team know how to own the media, for sure.

Exactly, if Cruz thinks he won fair and square, why would he apologize to Ben Carson in the first place?

He’s spending his own money, so it probably mentally hurts a guy who’s spent his entire life amassing a fortune to see it blown on less than desirable results. I bet Bush doesn’t have that problem. Maybe he should start taking in substantial monies from donors to spend?

I would imagine that Trump has some really good insider information.

I agree. The more people who hear this, the more media attention it gets, the better. I believe any reasonable person would conclude that many votes where stolen from Carson and that should not be pushed under the rug.

Trump has many more followers on Twitter than Carson and the media picks up everything he says. Now instead of being dismissed or ignored with just Carson complaining, it’s Trump also.

I see no evidence that the Cruz campaign is being affected by Trump's tantrum. And I think being seen as a sore loser could seriously hurt Trump - not with his core supporters, but with those he is trying to win over. Many will either actively turn against him, or more likely they will just start to tune out the constant stream of insults and whining.

Ever read The “True Believer” by Eric Hoffer?
You would make a fine case study.

Deal with it.

You think Cruz is on the defensive?

If that’s what you call Trump spewing butt hurt tweets, well so be it.

Controlling the news cycle looking like a whiner is nothing like controlling the news cycle looking like a leader.

And Trump is whining.

What dirty tricks?

Iowa was in a caucus and not a primary. The Cruz team was just feeding to their caucus team what was aired on CNN about Carson not returning to NH or Vermont after his speech early on in the evening before the caucus was even a couple hours old.

The Caucus team is their to convince caucus goers to Vote Cruz. What was illegal?

I believe you fell under the Trumpanzee express again and got ran over by the kool-aid car. I hope you heal from your wounds

"Cruz and his dirty tricks are probably not illegal. But it’s a good tactic to put him on the defensive."

Yeah. Worked WONDERFULLY with that whole "New York Values" thing. Cruz played him like a Stradivarius.

- Make a statement you know Trust Fund Donnie will jump on.
- Listen to the braying of Trump and the media about what a horrible mistake it was.
- Double-down on it with tons of advertising in Iowa showing Trump explaining his New York Values in his own words.

Cruz knew exactly what he was doing. Knew the attention and heat it would generate. And knew above all else that he was ready with the video that people in Iowa would fully understand.

Cruz plays 3 dimensional chess. Trump plays Tic-Tac-Toe.

Emphasis on "Tic."

Hank
