Trump Says He’ll Probably Sue Over Iowa Results, Accuses Cruz Of “Voter Fraud”

Donald Trump says he will probably sue over the results of the Iowa caucuses, accusing Ted Cruz of committing voter fraud to win.

In an interview on Boston Herald Radio on Wednesday, Trump criticized the Cruz campaign for spreading a CNN report saying Ben Carson would not travel to New Hampshire and South Carolina after the Iowa caucuses, suggesting Carson was getting out of the race. Cruz apologized to Carson on Tuesday for his campaign not sending out updates that Carson was doing laundry and not dropping out

"One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. They said he was quitting the race and to vote for him," said Trump.

Asked if he would sue, Trump said, "I probably will, what he did is unthinkable. He said the man has left the race and he said it during the caucus. And then when the clarification was put out by Ben Carson saying it's untrue, they got the statement and they didn't put it out."

With NH coming up he should be directing his Twitter Rage at Rubio who may embarrass him.

If he goes after Cruz for this sort of ploy, just think how he will root out corruption in DC as POTUS.

This guy has some nerve. He never stops to think before he opens his mouth. And he fails to mention that Rubio’s team did the exact same thing.

Sheesh. This site has been filled throughout the years of frustration at how Republicans won’t fight back over fraud.

Trump needs to get his ground game ready because there is going to be a lot of voter fraud and Republicans just roll over.

I guess we heard him wrong in that prior speech-he actually said “we’re going to whine...I’m a whiner...there will be so much whining you’ll get bored with whining”

He’s right

What exactly does the Orange One think he is going to sue over?

He isn’t funny and he has grown up just about all he is going to grow up. THIS is how he became a billionaire, by cheating, by ruthlessness and then suing. I am aware of a situation where he scammed eight million dollars off of contractors, he manipulated contacts, then if they went public he would SUE them.. So they had to take their losses and lumps.

If Trump were wise he would focus on winning the other states. If he spends a lot of effort trying to retroactively win Iowa, a lot of people who might have been undecided will question his judgement. My impression is, he is letting his ego get in the way of judgement. I have never been a Trump supporter but I can’t imagine how anyone could think this is some brilliant strategy.

Idiocy. Cruz didn’t win anything. He got a single delegate more than Trump after spending more than double. Why can’t Donald move on? Are there ANY level heads in his campaign who can tell him to chill out?

“I suspect Cruz will knock the crap out of him over this.”

After he apologized for doing it?

I definitely think Cruz is not who he appears to be. Not at all. Something is wrong there.

Trump is being Trump. No doubt about it.

At this point, I fear we are going to end up with Marco Rubio.

Rubes was probably a bigger beneficiary of Dr. Carson’s bad judgment, however, I have yet to see any statistical analysis to indicate it made any difference one way or the other.

His “nefarious side” (well put) has been clouded by his over-promising, something of which he has a long documented history.

While busy over-promising he and his supporters have ignored his YUGE negatives.

I have tried to give Trump the benefit of the doubt throughout his campaign. This is the end of that; he is ruining whatever credibility he had left.

Iowa worst case scenario: Cruz got some Carson votes because of the mix-up about Carson going to FL. It would not have changed the ultimate outcome, and Trump has a grand total of one fewer delegate in a rate where it will take a few thousand delegates. This is like a student of mine writing the college president because he got an A- instead of an A on the first quiz of the course, that is worth 1% of the final grade. Trump, it’s time to shut up and go away.

Perhaps Trump thinks he can somehow get Ted Cruz’ delegates by using eminent domain -— regardless of what the voters in Iowa wanted.

The bufoon said he was going to bring a lawsuit questioning Cruz’s elegibility to run. Still waiting.

Now Trump is engaging in more public buffoonery threatening to sue Ted Cruz over Cruz beating him in the Iowa primary.

Bring it on, Donny. Show your supporters your not just all talk, like many others already know about you.

There’s no evidence that Trump will not ‘go after’ anything unless its in his immediate interests.
