...What has not been said much throughout the day is that Florida Senator Marco Rubio’s campaign worked actively to spread the message that Carson was leaving the presidential race. These actions were reported on Twitter by Conrad Close who, according to his Twitter profile, is the managing editor of Outset Magazine.

I wonder if the false report by CNN was a set up by CNN to hurt Cruz and Rubio.
Nobody’s guilty of anything. They took a CNN report and repeated it. No one knew that it was wrong until the Carson people issued a clarification.
Then why did Ted Cruz apologize.

Cruz said it was a mistake not to verify CNN’s flimsy report.
He’s correct. He should have known better.
Yes, they are guilty.
They should have left Carson’s voters alone until after he drops out no matter what they thought and no matter what any told them.
They chose to make a play for them during the vote by delivering false information to his voters.

The person who is most responsible is named Ben Carson. He’s basically an amateur who is out of his league. Leaving the campaign trail for “fresh clothes” indicates he is not the least bit serious about the country.

Well, if so, his campaign has played it almost perfectly.
To see the proof, all one has to do is watch all the crap being flung around on FR between Cruz and Trump supporters.
All the while, Rubio sits on the sidelines, eating his popcorn and preparing for NH with nary a fleck of crap on him...

Agree...this is much to do about nothing...Trump is just shaking the new bright shiny object to get the media back paying attention to him...that’s his schtick...
I find it curious that one camp now holds that CNN is a model of integrity and truth. smh
