Referring to bullet point #1. "I will never get — nor do I want — money from the DC lobbyists", look at the truth:

Almost all of these donors are Washington DC lobbyists. All of them directly funding Ted Cruz, not a Super-PAC, but his direct campaign. - SEE FOR YOURSELF

-

The entire statement

..."I will never get -- nor do I want -- money from the DC lobbyists"...

..is a flat out lie. It is not a misstatement, it is a complete and total falsehood.

I gather by your handle that you were against the Gore recount effort. Do you support Trump’s?

I never read anything from the Conservative Treehouse. They don’t try to win on the issues. All they do is put out one petty hit-and-run piece after another. No thank you.

Morals are ignored these days. Funny how Trump said he could shoot someone on 5th avenue. He was saying it in jest, but Cruz is the one who could kill someone and his supporters would yawn. This is not about Donald Trump......Donald Trump is sticking up for Dr. Carson who was cheated. However, the Cruz fans will ridicule Trump and make it seem like he is in the wrong. It is called deflection and Cruz groupies are brilliant at it.

I think more and more people are coming to realize that Cruz is not the outsider he has portrayed himself to be.

I know he has totally changed my opinion of him in the last few weeks.

All he has to do is give a 40 minute Joel Osteen impression, and that is like catnip to them.

Then they will accuse you of being a fake conservative for having the gal dang nerve to point this out.

Seriously, How Can Ted Cruz Supporters Defend This?

Easy. It's all for the greater good.

It’s no use. His disciples are fine with business as usual as long as the anointed one wins. Lying to voters, intimidating voters. It’s all excusable because Ted is “the one”. The ONLY “one”.

Your research looks totally bogus. The legal limit for contributions to candidates is way lower than what you state, like $5,000 per person. So those Club for Growth donations and such cannot be accurate. They would have to be going to a SuperPAC, not Cruz.

Your table is deceptive. Corporations cannot not give political contributions. (Obvious exceptions are the conservative PACs.) Individuals who are employed by corporations can. Those contributions were from individuals.

Pathetic. That’s data from his Senate campaign. Also, do you see where it breaks down “individuals” versus “PACs?” That means that those moneys came from individuals, not PACs. DUH.

Now, Cruz’s language is a little misleading here. He’s using “special-interest” as a modifier of “billionaire.” Plainly, he is getting support from billionaires... a handful of identified big-money supporters. He’s asserting that they’re not special interests. But I could totally see someone meaning he’s not getting money from billionaires...
but put it back into context. He’s telling his people he’s just gotten huge donations!
