Your research looks totally bogus. The legal limit for contributions to candidates is way lower than what you state, like $5,000 per person. So those Club for Growth donations and such cannot be accurate. They would have to be going to a SuperPAC, not Cruz. The chart is right out of opensecrets... Based on what? If someone who’s a member of Club for Growth donates to Cruz, that is NOT the same as Club for Growth donating to Cruz.
