"After Trumps antics today he is toast. He may do well in NH but the rest of the country will turn against him. Trump has destroyed his base support."

It's really incomprehensible. Trump was actually gracious for about 30 seconds. Looked like maybe he'd learned something.

Now he looks like a total....is there a better word than "LOSER?" He's come utterly unhinged. Invalidate the caucus? Sue Cruz? This looks like Sore Loserman on steroids.

I've come to the conclusion that on top of being a petulant, entitled puke, Trump simply isn't very bright.

Santorum endorsing Rubio...
That surprised me. Guess I had him wrong.

Good Ol’ Boy network strikes again.

“If Trump can’t grow up, stop with the Democrat attacks on his fellow republicans, and get better organized on the ground he will end up ushering Rubio into the general election.”

I like that. But let me edit.

If Cruz can’t grow up, and stop with the democrat tactics on his fellow republicans, he will end up ushering Rubio into the general election.

If Cruz had any sense whatsoever he would have never went after Trump because Cruz absolutely can’t get the GOP nomination and I don’t care how good his ground game is. Trump will beat him in NH, and Rubio or another establishment type will finish in second place, and Cruz maybe third if he’s lucky. Then the race goes to SC where the entire Republican field has endorsed Rubio and not a one has endorsed Cruz. Trump can overcome this because he’s has a big lead in the state and has for the past year. But if for some reason Trump does not win SC you can be assured it will be Marco Rubio. Then the race goes to Florida where Trump has another huge lead over everybody, including Cruz. If Trump or Rubio takes SC it will be him or Trump for all the marbles in Florida. Once again, Cruz will get no help from anyone in the state.

If he had only kept his arrogant mouth shut about Trump there’s a chance he could have been Trump’s running mate. But that’s out the window now. That’s what happens when the real you comes out and you start lying like hell about everyone else’s record and start this talk about you’re the only real Reagan conservative in the race and it’s been willed from God that you’re going to be elected president. Mark my words Cruz will not carry another state.

I think some of you need to put on the big girl panties and understand the situation. This is cut throat politics and things will get ugly from time to time. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. It happens every 4-8 years — some of you act as if you have amnesia. This is nothing new.. look at John Adams and Thomas Jefferson..

"Vote for SHRILLARY! or the communist then."

Why would I do that when I can vote for a Constitutional conservative like Ted Cruz, or failing that, an imperfect but at least somewhat conservative Marco Rubio?

Rubio shaking hands with Chuck Schumer is as bad as George Bailey doing same with Mr. Potter.

In 2012, I had forgiven Santorum for supporting Arlen over Toomey, but regarding the liar Rubio, Rick has sunk pretty damn low.

"I like that. But let me edit.
If Cruz can't grow up, and stop with the democrat tactics on his fellow republicans, he will end up ushering Rubio into the general election."

BWAHAHAHAHA! A supporter of Trust Fund Donnie telling Cruz to "grow up."

A supporter of the guy who compared Ben Carson to a child molester.

A supporter of the guy who called Cruz "a really nasty guy" that "no one likes" a few weeks after effusively singing his praises.

A supporter of the guy who chickened out of a debate because big bad old Megyn Kelly was mean to him.

A supporter of the guy who goes on Twitter rants like a 13 year old girl.

A supporter of the guy who cried about Ted Cruz saying he was for single payer for the highly unfair reason that he said on multiple occasions he was for single payer.

A supporter of the sore loser who whined like a little bitch when he got outworked in Iowa by Cruz and who cried for a do-over.

A supporter of the comprehensive fraud that is Donald Trump who has a decades-long history of supporting left-wing causes and donating to left-wing politicians.

Endorsements? What a joke. If endorsements mattered so goddamned much Cruz would've gotten clobbered in Iowa - he had the 57 term governor saying "vote for anyone but Cruz!" And gee, Trust Fund Donnie had Saint Sarah by his side, didn't he...when all Ted had was dumb old Glenn Beck?

Let ME edit YOU:

"I got duped by a guy who has turned out to be not only a liberal but highly unstable. I got so excited when he was saying politically incorrect things about illegal immigrants that I neglected to study his past expressed positions or really learn anything about him. But now I'm so emotionally invested that I'm going to justify every loony crybaby utterance he makes, no matter how incoherent, petulant or just plain moronic it might be, and every 180 degree turnaround from views previously expressed."

"I'm going to keep telling myself he's something he's not, because to admit to myself that he's little more than a Rockefeller Republican conman - to the extent he's a Republican or has a coherent political philosophy at all - would be too devastating and require too much introspection."

There. Happy to edit that for you. No charge.

Hank

The longer that the GOPe candidates remain in the running, I think that it will hurt Rubio the most. I would hope that Bush and Christy will get a boost through this. The game is not over. As far as Hillary is concerned, polling indicates she would be beaten by Rubio, Cruz and Trump in that order.

If this were still a representative Constitutional Republic and elections were not as corrupted as the rest of the institutions in this country - your analysis would have merit.

But we are no longer a Republic, and everything is corrupted beyond redemption of repair, and what we see is what happens for the purposes of placating the public into accepting what the Rulers impose on the populace.

Everything that is being done, is for that purpose. Which is why everything is political, same as it was in the Soviet Union, which is what we have been fundamentally transformed into.

Sometimes, people who are that rich lose the ability to recognize it when they say something stupid, because they are surrounded by people who tell them that everything they say is brilliant.

>> the divorces probably turned Santorum off of Trump <<

What about Trump’s strip clubs, his gambling dens, his constant petty attacks on competitors, his bragging about seducing married women, his 100% pro-choice record until a few years ago, his admitting he had never asked God for forgiveness, and two Corinthians?

If Santo is sincere about his deep religious faith, maybe those Trump characteristics also played a role in steering Santo away from the Donald.
