Rick Santorum endorsed Marco Rubio for president on Wednesday evening, just hours after announcing he’d drop out of the race himself.

going for the establishment it seems for Ricky boy. Well maybe his 5 voters might go for open border Rubio too
Maybe little Marco promised him he would start regularly going to Mass. Santorum is a devout Catholic, Rubio is not. I’ve heard him say in interviews he goes to Mass one week and the next week goes to his wife’s protestant service, without attending Mass. Little Marco you can’t pick and choose when you want to attend Mass.
Who didn’t see this coming?

I got a little excited about Trump because he was saying things that should be said. But I’m not sure he’s serious about winning.
Plus, he’s got billions but that’s chickenfeed to what our country’s enemies have. Ross Perot had billions, too. But billions couldn’t get him the election.
It’s always amazed me how the billionaires can say such stupid things. How’d they get that rich and be so stupid?
Like a beaten spouse, Rick keep crawling back to the establishment hoping for their approval.

Has he learned his lesson from that? That is the question. I wish that Santorum would have waited until after Saturday night. That debate is going to be a test for Rubio.......EVERYONE will be going after him and it will be interesting to see how he does. It is going to be brutal for him and if he does well......holy cow.
Ugh. I say this as a Floridian who fell for his happy talk once.
Santorum has demonstrated why he just another political hack with a huge ego. Trump has made them all drop their veils and expose who they really are.

But Rubio is a good ‘social conservative’ candidate (as is Cruz), however nothing will ever come of it. He wouldn’t be able to advance any issue or alleviate any of the damage done.
This is why Conservatives can’t win.

Agreed. And yet I’m willing to bet that was part of Santorum’s calculation. Cruz might be too evangelical for him.

Well since he has endorsed Arlen Spector before, this isn’t a surprise.
I guess Red Bull Rubio now has the money to pay off all of the campaign debts of the other idiots.
