Bingo. Any presidency that does nothing to stop our ongoing societal merger with Mexico is a failed presidency. Rubio is vehemently pro-Mexico-merger. Even if he appoints a decent judge or two or cuts the odd tax, he is still very much a domestic enemy.

I don’t hear Rubio talking about a single policy position in any of his recent TV appearances. I can’t recall offhand any of his tax or economic positions. Militarily, he seems to be firmly in the “shoot down Russian planes” establishment wing of the party. The whole amnesty flip is too huge to forgive or forget. That’s the absolute worst kind of flip-flop, making a campaign promise, then being elected and doing the opposite. That’s “no new taxes.” That isn’t evolving. It also shows that when the establishment says “jump,” Rubio asks how high. On the issues that are most important to the establishment, Rubio will give in every time.
