At least she’s not a full-term Governor.

Would that be Da 5 when Nebuchadnezzar has his mind restored?
I deeply respect Sarah Palin, though. I’ll always feel for any warrior back stabbed by her own general. I still ache for Uriah. And in David’s life your point is made. Samuel probably rolled over in his grave..

To: zerosix
I am opposed to her candidate but not her. She is flawed (always was) but still has much to be admired.

Daniel 4:17
This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know
that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of menI guess we shouldn't complain that our leaders are flawed men. It lets us know who's really in charge.

A dear friend's son, who joined the service out of high school, went to college for a while but didn't graduate.
Because of some of his connections still involved in "military work" interested him, with "his skills," and he wound up working in one of alphabet agencies. He has been very successful in his work and now works for a "private contractor!"
I would never think of him as sinister merely because he has done some work for our country!
We need not label people merely because they have backgrounds in "security."
Once upon a time, the FBI used to prefer young Mormon men because of their "clean backgrounds! Hardly sinister.

Cruz is being run by one of the factions of the Bush Family. His supporters are suckers for thinking that he’s some sort of independent.
Palin did her research. She knows that he’s a Bushbot.

He does have a history with them. Whether that remains a factor today, I don’t know.
It’s not out of the question.

I have no doubt that 95% of our military & gov't security professionals are above reproach, as I'm sure your acquaintance is. However, I reserve the right to have suspicion when I believe there are some who are not acting in my (Country's) interest.
Maybe the Gov't preferred Mormons because they come from an insular culture

Take your own advice and now go home.
You have had 25 minutes of fame. You should have got out after the first 15

She still had a lot of support from conservatives prior to the Trump endorsement. People will look back on that moment as the beginning of her slide into oblivion.
Oblivion?
Her fair-weather friends and enemies here on FR and on Facebook seem to think "that moment" was when Sarah Palin was born.
