GO PUTIN!! Top Gun fighter jet to join Syria battle By Lucas Tomlinson, Jennifer Griffin Published February 04, 2016 FoxNews.com Facebook1626 Twitter0 livefyre Email Print NOW PLAYING Syrian peace talks derailed after Russia continues bombings Never autoplay videos Russia seemingly has ignored Secretary of State John Kerry’s appeals to stop bombing civilians and allow critical humanitarian aid to starving Syrians – and is instead escalating its military involvement, deploying four of its most capable fighter jets to Syria, two defense officials confirmed to Fox News. The decision to send the Su-35S jets poses yet another hurdle for Kerry’s efforts to proceed with peace talks. The Su-35S is Russia’s most advanced warplane, capable of air-to-air and air-to-ground missions, one official familiar with the jet said. Already, continued Russian airstrikes against Syrian opposition fighters, some backed by the CIA, were enough to derail proposed peace talks in Geneva Wednesday.

Right. And most of the world knows Assad is as much of a mass murderer as ISIS. The world will be better off without either of them.

Ignoring Kerry is always the smart choice.

Too bad he was not ignored in 1971 when he slandered every vet who ever served in Vietnam.

Too bad he was not ignored in 1992 when he and McCain turned their backs on the POW-MIAs we left behind in Vietnam, and then insulted their families when they pleaded for answers.

He deserves a gibbet.

Equating Assad to ISIS is repulsive. It’s simply not the case. It also serves to diminish the wanton rape, murder, and torture committed by those animals.

No Assad, is not good, but your lack of distinction isn’t good either.

ISIS is a greater threat to us and the rest of the world. But Assad is a greater threat to Syrians.

The Alawites are the adults in the situation. I don’t care for the way they do things, true, but many Non-Alawite Syrians are currently safe behind their lines.

Russia Ramping Up Military Drills to Cold War Levels, NATO Says

Feb 5, 2016 - FoxNews.com

Russia has stepped up its military maneuvers to a level unseen since the height of the Cold War, according to a new report released by NATO Thursday.

Jens Stoltenberg, the alliance's secretary general and author of the report, noted that Moscow has conducted at least 18 large-scale exercises over the past three years, "some of which have involved more than 100,000 troops."

Those exercises included several simulated nuclear attacks against NATO allies and partner nations ..."

Unfortunately for them, they’re Assad’s co-religionists. And as this mess continues, they’ve been like the Germans who supported Hitler. They may not have had any real choice, but they’re going to be forced to accept part of the blame.

From Aug 23, 2015:

"a recent investigation conducted by Novaya Gazeta, one of the few independent newspapers left in Russia, complicates this cozy tale of counterterrorist cooperation. Based on extensive fieldwork in one village in the North Caucasus, reporter Elena Milashina has concluded that the "Russian special services have controlled" the flow of jihadists into Syria, where they have lately joined up not only with ISIS but other radical Islamist factions.

In other words, Russian officials are adding to the ranks of terrorists which the Russian government has deemed a collective threat to the security and longevity of its dictatorial ally on the Mediterranean, Bashar al-Assad."

We all know that Putin stole your girlfriend, we just don’t care. Your daily screed about the reconstituted Soviet Union is problem #7764 on American’s minds. Feel free to keep it up though, someone’s got to be a bore around here.

So the left supports foreign communists and people like hou support foreign Putin, what is the difference? Just like France under WWII, where Vichy right wing supported Hitler and communists did the “resistance” supporting the Soviet but none for the country.

It is utterly foolish to have no other strategy of national interest.

The Syrians are a mostly dismal people who deserve little sympathy. Syria has always been trouble, even in ancient times. Syria is a strategic piece of real estate located between larger powers, and its people are sharply divided by religion and ethnicity and by conflicting loyalties to those external powers.

For the most part, the Syrian refugees are not fleeing war but the eternal backwardness and misery of their Muslim homeland and the hatred of their fellow Syrians. Given their preference, the people now fleeing Syria would instead kill and dispossess their neighbors. Except for the widely despised Christians who are a threat to no one, there are few "good guys" in Syria to cheer for or to assist as refugees.

As it is, most of the supposed refugees in Europe and the US are simply looking for an easy life and ripe pickings from the rich and weak Christians whom they see as the prey offered to them by Allah. In large swaths of formerly peaceful cities in Europe, Syrian refugee is now a synonym for rapist and criminal. In Europe's military and police agencies, strategists are debating how to deal with the civil war that they see coming when they are forced to confront a continent wide Muslim terror campaign and insurgency.

Have you watched Russian hysterical and disgusting propaganda (setting up witnesses identifying Ukrainians crucifying Russians) and shut down of US media? None here have shut RT news.... which when it comes to discuss America is on the level of Al Jazeera.

The difference being which people each side is killing.

Assad is killing Sunni Islamists, including US trained Al Qaeda and ISIS militias.

Go Assad.

Well, let us remember that amongst ISIS are the islamic prisoners Assad released when the students revolted and Sadam’s former officers who are doing Assad’s bidding.

There is a reason why Putin is not targeting ISIS

No, Assad released islamic prisoners and welcomed Sadam Hussein’s officers who lead ISIS both in Iraq and Syria. Assad is primarily responsible for ISIS. Putin is not focusing the bombing on them. That is a fact.
