I’m so isolated i wasn’t sure if it was a common wedding song lol.
I’ve unfortunately never been to a Jewish one.
I didn’t make good Jewish friends until my early thirties.
I should be at one within the next five years though as some are getting married :)
A lot about a Jewish wedding in America depends on how religious the family is and how well off they are. The less religious they are, times the more well off they are, equals a heck of a lavish reception! But rich or poor, religious or not, there are usually a group of very endearing customs, like the groom stomping on a goblet and breaking it as part of the wedding ritual, the guests dancing the
horah in a circle, and the bride and groom being carried around the reception aloft by the groomsmen, seated on chairs. Maybe not so much any more, but there used to be klezmer music at most Jewish weddings. It's really fun!
