I’ve not seen a report that Rice or Powell ever received or sent classified documents in re their personal email addresses. Merely that they had personal email addresses in addition to their secure state dept ones. So Hillary should put up or shut up about that.

These are the latest allegations coming from the Clinton camp...that Powell & Rice "received" classified e-mails on their personal accounts.

I would maintain that "receiving" an e-mail is vastly different than "communicating" through e-mail. Anyone can send anything to a personal e-mail address. Granted, there can be electronic security bots and agents that scrub e-mails for viruses and what not, but receiving alone is not a crime.

You must also ask the question, "WHO sent the classified e-mail?" Was this a regular practice for Powell & Rice, and did they order their staffs to communicate like this--"off the grid," so to speak? Furthermore, what did Powell & Rice do with the e-mails they received, if in fact they were classified? Did they self-report it, so that an investigation could occur?

This story is clearly one of intent, and the Powell/Rice e-mail is a red herring. Once again, Hillary is trying to run out the clock, hoping the public becomes tired of "her damned e-mails..."
