The pay a fine one always gets me. As if using taxpayer’s money that they have already gotten with all the freebies given to the illegals is going to make me feel better about pathway to citizenship.

I was thinking more along the lines of paying back everything you cost us while you were here, from the cost of educating your children, taxes a law-abiding citizen would have paid if you didn't have his job, free lunches, all of it. Not just some arbitrary fee.
