No problem so great that government cannot make even worse.

You are correct and I would like to think that, that was done. Maybe just wrong?

Since these are all letters cut by template and purchased by sign producers, I hope this was not just a “money making” change or “new” company being “pushed” with some bad reason.

I don’t really see any difference. The discrepancy in mileage might be a concern.

Leave it up to government to spend millions and billions of dollars to make matters worse. Wonder how much they wasted on this stupidity.

That can ALWAYS be answered with two questions...

Who made the decision to change the font?

Who got the contract to manufacture the signs?

OK... 3 questions...

Did their bank accounts change during the years long "tests?"

You need to look again. It’s not a mile shorter.

whenever it spends everything it has

Government doesn't "have" anything. Everything it has it got from you and I.

Everything the government “HAS” has been TAKEN from you and I. People need to get that straight. EVERYTHING the government has and does is ONLY from what they TAKE from you and I.

Government is basically liars and thieves. Liars because they convince people how much they care. Thieves because once the gullible gives them permission, government robs everyone blind. Government then proceeds to do only what is in government’s best interests regardless of their lies the gullible believed.

Depends on which is the new and which is the old. I don’t know which is which, so I assumed that the left one was old.........

Why didn’t you assume that they’re two different mile markers?

WHo has the contract to make the signs and who has the contract to remove/replace the signs and who gets to recycle the scrap metal?

Follow the money.

I’ve seen cities pave the same road 3 times in 2 years because they got state and federal money to do so.

Look again. The trees behind the signs do not look the same. The background does not look the same. Why is everyone confused by this image? They’re two different signs, a mile apart, like you see on interstate highways all over this country.
