(Forcing Christian business' to participate in gay weddings against their beliefs, is not enough? And DT had no problem with the Christian KY clerk being JAILED for not wanting to sign her name to gay marriage licenses.)
Between this and Kelo- Trump does not seem to have much knowledge of our Constitution and the concept of individual rights-And why they matter.
Trump is not my first choice for POTUS.
I will vote for him if he's the nominee. But I have serious concerns about things like this.
If Bernie is the D, I might.
Or, I might just "waste" my vote on a third party regardless of who's the D. I think I'm done voting for RINOs. If we're content to leave the frog in the pot and the pot on the fire, I may be to the point where I don't care how hot the fire is. Hotter may be better.
As well, I don’t recall Trump speaking out against Curt Schilling getting fired over this anti-transgender bathroom tweet.
Trump doesn’t give a rats ass about freedom of religion/speech, etc. He’s already proven that by his call to strengthen libel laws on people who speak “negatively”, as he put it. He already has told us he has no problem with Obama using the Executive Orders, and in fact, said “Obama has opened the door, so he can use Executive Orders, but for things HE will deem necessary and ‘right’”. So, yeh, there’s that.
Common Sense would tell you: Trump + pro gay + anti-free speech/changing libel laws + Executive Orders = unconstitutional pushes to restrict more rights and freedoms.
