After Iowa, Trump Showing off Effort to Win in New Hampshire
ABC News ^ | Feb. 6, 2016 | JILL COLVIN AND JEFF HORWITZ, ASSOCIATED PRESS

"It's really about asking them whether they're going to get out and vote on Tuesday and whether they support Mr. Trump," McGough said. He said he had made 1,150 calls for Trump on Wednesday alone.

Kevin Bray, 51, another volunteer, said he had driven more than 20 hours in the rain from Nixa, Missouri, after seeing the results in Iowa.

"Iowa happened and I woke up really irritated," he said. "I said, you know, I want to make a difference." He said he arrived on Wednesday morning and told Trump's team to put him to work.

In a back room of the office, a white board displays ambitious goals for each day.

On Thursday, the team aimed to make 30,000 calls and knock on 2,500 doors. By early afternoon, campaign officials said they were partway to their goals. Their seven teams of volunteers sent to neighborhoods across the state had reported knocking on 823 doors so far.

On Friday, campaign staff hoped to boost the number to 5,000, as more than 100 new volunteers arrived from states such as New York and Pennsylvania to help. The team has run out of the 20,000 cards it printed to hand out during visits and was printing 25,000 more.

"I think look, we'll take nothing for granted," said Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, a New Hampshire resident overseeing the effort.

Hopefully. Brands at least have persistence, I think the poll sensitivity he has shown is more like fashion, which moves and changes at the speed of light. Anyway, it is OK to win in the polls, but that is more a statistic and doesn’t show at all on the score board. :) I am sure that Cruz doesn’t regret not winning the polls in Iowa.

You really aren’t helping Cruz

The focus of Trump and Cruz supporters should be on knocking out The Cheap Labor Express candidates

I worked for RNC in DC during Dubya's first run, and it was not only exciting and intense, it was also a chance to meet a lot of other conservatives. Talking with others helped me clarify some positions I had doubts or misunderstandings about.

Gezuz, I hope ya told them those in DC and your former boss are are all pre-paid, bought and paid for. I hope ya told them it's one big con job to loot the tax payers while lining their own corrupt pockets with cash and power.

I’ve already been contacted by our YUGE group here.

Due to my resume’ I’m afraid they want me to be in a power or managerial position but I’m going to have to pass on that ... 80 mile RT daily drive.

A cold case of whatever this man wants, on my tab. Inspiring.

Let's see did Donald move back the event for himself or for his supporters?

Now this is the true hallmark of humiliation

Showing consideration for you supporters is not humiliation. But you have shown yourself more than willing to grasp at even the flimsiest of straws to support your man. Nothing wrong with that, except that is has absolutely zero affect except with those who also support Ted Cruz. But keep trying you provide a level of amusement without a doubt.

"Yeah, Trump wants to win so bad in New Hampshire that he is a no-show to his own events just because of a little snow...prompting Jeb Bush to poke fun at the Donald with the following:"

Signal boosting Gov. Low Energy to get in a jibe at Trump?

You are ThreeDimensionalLame.

Jeb had a sleepover at his mom’s in southern Maine, it’s not as if closed airports got in the way for him or anything.

I agree with you that Trump must have a great debate performance. He knows this and I have no doubt he is ready. Of course, it’s on now, so be prepared for him to go after Cruz and Rubio especially if he is attacked. However, I do hope Trump reiterates what he stands for and comes across as impressive as he has lately.

We sent a packed bus to NH, they have been there since Thursday, coming home late tonight.

We are also putting together the New York team with thousands of volunteers, chairs and co chairs across the congressional districts.

We can’t just be the silent majority. We need to speak up to friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and get people to the polls for Trump. If not Trump then Cruz. Anyone but the GOPe. We have to let the party know we are serious about the need for change and direction.

You have to be prepared for a bit of resentment, I found in Pennsylvania. We had parked in the wrong spots, and they went ballistic. “We have to deal with this after you guys have gone!” Never mind that we had come to win votes for their candidate.

Go easy, everyone. You will be guests in another country, practically.
