The Saudi Army put down an Iranian backed Shia rebellion in Bahrain.
And it has at least achieved a stalemate in Oman against another Iranian backed Shia rebel group when the Oman Sunni government collapsed.
The Saudis have ~3k men in their Special Forces in an Army of ~175k.
Which is not enough to fight in Oman,put down any Shia rebellion in the Northeast of their country,and fight effectively in Syria.
But it seems the Saudis are expanding and upgrading their Special Forces despite $30/barrel oil and cuts in the welfare state.
This Iranian lowlife happens to be right. The Saudis are desperate to stop the Russians who are killing and destroying the Saudi funded Sunni jihadists in Syria and Iraq. The huge Saudi investment will be lost and the Saudis will be surrounded by hostile, well armed entities. The Saudi army is a joke. It is combat ineffective and its soldiers will not die for the corrupt, decadent House of Saud, who are at the core of 9/11.
Only 1,400 years of incest and the consequential genetic degradation of IQ could produce this statement:
“They have a classic army and history tells us such armies stand no chance in fighting irregular resistance forces.”
Putin would disagree. Ask the ‘irregulars on the receiving end of his strikes.
