You’d never build a hydroelectric dam and create the huge backwater lakes without eminent domain. Thousand of acres of private owned land are taken.
Don’t forget how much land was given to the railroads by the federal government ... and then the Homestead Act.
All those wind farms...Those lands are all obtained through eminent domain.
