He offered her 4 times what it was worth. She was either very stupid or very greedy and thought she could get more.

I don't know whether that is completely true or not. All Trump, and his friends, tried, they didn't get her house. However, I don't know whether or not the widow was awarded her legal costs in the final decision. I've not seen that mentioned in the articles I've read on this. If she wasn't than her wealth was stolen by forcing her to use it on defending her home. They certainly stole from her time and energy.
