Like I said, I believe what Ted said at the time and what he said in videos that have been played. That's what the evidence supports even if you aren't aware of it.
I saw those videos too. He was calling their bluff. If this is what the objective is, he says, then you should have no problem pulling citizenship off the table. What? You can’t do this without granting citizenship? Oops, you’re true motives are showing. That’s a paraphrase, of course. It’s what any good poker player would do. Every word on every one of those videos can be reconciled with that strategic framework.
