I agree. I think he really set the tone when he refused to criticize other candidates at the beginning and later apologized to Carson. The only negative with Cruz was tapping the podium when making a point.

Cruz was weakened significantly tonight. You could see him worrying about how his words were going to be taken as he was saying them. Lack of confidence in spots.
