Carson had been called but he apparently wasn’t able to hear it...he wasn’t the only one - Kasich didn’t either. They should have waited to call names when the audience cheering had faded.
That Trump sure is classy - “tell them to go f-— themselves” “they’re full of s-—” from the campaign podium is the mark of class - very presidential - good role model.
It was very hard to hear the names because the announcer was saying them during the applause.
Very classy. Trump was willing to put himself out there, willing to risk being embarrassed by ABC, just so Carson wouldn’t be left there standing alone. None of the others that followed behind them were sure enough of themselves to take that risk.
And there was no reason to not stand backstage in waiting
SOMEONE gave the announcers a list and they read the names off and didn't even care if anyone showed up or not
SOMEONE said .... "Keep camera B on the backstage .... and SOMEONE in the booth had planned in advance for the entire confusing scenario to be broadcast live
Is that too complicated for ABC?
Carson didn’t hear his name, neither did Trump. They were both told by a stage hand but they just stood there looking clueless.
How did ABC messed up?
“Doctor Ben Carson” was clearly called. Maybe he was waiting for the applause to stop before stepping out, when they called for Cruz.

If you listen they did read his name but Carson didn’t hear it.
With that many people running, it would be better to hire somebody who reads off names at a high school graduation. Reading off a list and looking up every now and then to make sure everything is in sync might be hard. Kind of like announcing the right name for Miss Universe winner.
Also, I had some swiss chard tonight for the first time. At first, I thought it was spinach. But it was pretty good. I ate all of it.
Also had some raw oysters. They are still sliding around in my stomach.
I swear that had to be the weirdest introduction EVER. Every person called, another one came out, I think they called for Rubio to come on stage, but Ted Cruz showed up, not sure if it was deliberate or just because there are so many candidates but they should have just lined them up and called them one by one to come up on stage
