GitHub is undergoing a full-blown overhaul as execs and employees depart

We've been hearing about a lot of drama going on at $2 billion startup GitHub, the hugely important and popular site used by millions of computer programmers where 10 or more executives have departed in recent months.

The more we write about the inner turmoil, the more people step forward to share details and opinions.

"They are trying to control culture, interviewing and firing. Scary times at the company without a seasoned leader. While their efforts are admirable it is very hard to even interview people who are 'white' which makes things challenging," this person said.

Sanchez is known for some strong views about diversity. She wrote an article for USA Today shortly before she joined GitHub titled, "More white women does not equal tech diversity."

At one diversity training talk held at a different company and geared toward people of color, she came on a bit stronger with a point that says, "Some of the biggest barriers to progress are white women."

tl;dr Github has been infected by Diversity Officer-types and the people that built it are starting to leave in droves.

SJWs: Why we can't have nice things.

That’s why we moved to BitBucket.

When you back a rat into a corner, he’ll eventually fight. Whites are running out of places to flee to.

Don’t you just love it when a company is run by racist and bigots?

+1 for Bitbucket. Unlike Github they have free private repos. I keep a lot of work there.

But a LOT of employers want to see a Github link, so I keep a small amount of work there as well. I would happily boycott Github and their racist policies except for that.

GitHub is currently the best public repo.

Sanchez sounds like an idiot.

People always get this picture of conservatives running corporations but it’s easier for companies to lean left these days. I think once you stifle all the innovation and ambition of whites, the world will go through a financial depression like we’ve never seen before.

Silicon Valley white liberals in suicide trap. They have only themselves to blame. The place is already multiracial without any intervention by PC police, but that is not enough for them. They have to push it to the brink of total meltdown.

Here's part of github's code of conduct:

Our open source community prioritizes marginalized people's safety over privileged people's comfort. We will not act on complaints regarding:

I left github when this first came out. gitgud.io is free and also explicitly supports free speech.

I wonder why the author used air quotes ('white'), unless it was suggested by the speaker's intonation. I also wonder why the speaker did not simply say "white people".

A point that needs to driven homeless this election cycle. Leftist are running a huge percentage of big business. The super rich are leftist.

Their lawyer basically took over the company’s management. He’s driving it into the ground, on purpose. He’s probably working for a competitor to do just that.

The majority of coders are white males. What kind of a moron then goes and makes an anti-white male HR initiative expecting the company to thrive?

GitHub’s going down. It’s an inside job.

This is the acute, stage IV pancreatic cancer that can happen to young corporations.

Much like the joke about a man who feels queasy and goes to his doctor. His doctor tells him he is terminally ill. “You only have ten left,” says the doctor.

“Ten what!?,” yells the man. “Months? Days?”

“Nine”, replies the doctor.

When you have people like this in management, it's time to leave.

Or a foreign entity which wants the US tech sector to be the next to fall.

This company will be destroyed by people like the guy below.

Github’s social-impact team, technical director Danilo Campos, has been known to tweet similarly strong views about diversity.

don’t think we’ll succeed teaching white, male middle managers empathy and compassion anytime soon

so let’s limit their scope of damage
