I am now both a Trump and Cruz supporter. Cruz has held up well with all the cheap shots that had come his way. And most importantly it is obvious the establishment doesn’t want him and they use the media to try and take him down.

His refusal to get flustered and give good solid answers is impressive. Hopefully people are getting a notion and all that is at stake in this election and help the media and the establishment to portray him in a certain way and get him out of Rubio’s way.

Carson appears to be using the Iowa situation to mask his very poorly run campaign and the fact that he is not presidential material. I think Cruz’s involvement came about just as he said. Had Trump’ campaign known about it, he would have probably did what Cruz’s did, if they were as fast on their feet.

My dream team: Trump/Cruz.
My fall-back dream team: Cruz/Trump.

They both seem like they can get things done, and will be immune to the pressures of the Washington establishment bullies.

To end welfare benefits Cruz and the congress will have to tell SCOTUS they cannot review the law. There exist previous cases

[Regardless of height, who’s the smallest?]

BEN CARSON. He showed no class by not accepting CRUZ’S sincere apology last night.

[Chris Christie called Captain Queeg to the witness stand.]

I’d hate to be on CHRISTIE’S bad side.

I agree with you.

And I would prefer them not being TOO hard on one another in the primary.

That’s weird. Christie did better than that. (no, he’s not my first choice. Just trying to keep it real)

Ok it's Feb. 21 2016. Is anyone talking about this debate...(chirp...chirp...chirp)? Why, because nothing of any consequences happen....Zip...Zero...Nada. Do you know anything about the candidates today that you didn't know 24 hours ago? Have you changed how you feel/think about the candidates based on this "debate"?

Something has to be done about the format of these joint pressers debates. As it stands, the candidates speak in sound byte talking points, the moderators try to create controversy. We need up with something that is not informative and is...well BORING.

Polls and talking heads all give it to Trump with Christie next.

Rubio was horrific and really hurt himself.

Cruz didn’t come across well in the exchange with Carson. It made him look dishonest...whether he was or not. I also thought Cruz’s lame answer on waterboarding...and invoking John McCain was indicative that he will say whatever is PC.

Cruz apologized because he was cornered by the truth and had no other option.

I don’t blame Carson for treating the “apolgy” as it really was.

I'll take Trump kissing Giuliani on the cheek any day over Cruz raising funds from NY Gays.

Have you ever known a owner of a large successful business (net worth exceeding $100 million) who is wasteful, tolerates lazy and incompetent workers, pays good employees less than they deserve, is unfair in treating subordinates, etc? There is no such animal! As president, that is exactly what you see with Trump.

I think Trump will get Cruz out of the eligibility problem with his access to lawyers. He would not want that problem hanging on his head when there is a campaign. Cruz knows the nuts and bolts of Washington D.C. and would help Trump navigate through the Potomac swamps. Trump knows the major business PACs and knows how they stack the deck. He sure knew how to call them out for stacking the audience at the debate. As time goes on, we will figure out who takes the Presidential spot and the VP.

I could go on, but I think the Cruz people would understand.

... That picture brings to mind one of Mr Reagans favorite sayings .... "Trust ... but verify"

.... There are also many pictures of Mr Trump palling around with the Clintons. The fact that he met with Bill for almost an hour just before he announced his candidacy ... makes me pause to contemplate other possible reasons for his run for office. For instance ... He will not deny a possible so called 3rd party run if he does not win the candidacy. At least not recently.
