Your comments reminds me that I vividly remember hearing older white Southerners say that the civil rights movement would ultimately bring whites down, not lift blacks up.
My mother used to have a saying “What’s in the blood will out.” It seems her premise has proved itself true in the case of Africans in America. The differences don’t seem to be reconcilable except by subjugating the white population. It remains to be seen where that will lead.
