It’s not about Carson—it’s about Cruz and his underhanded campaign tactics. It’s the stain on his reputation that no scrubbing will erase the damage done to his saintly image.

I think it is about corupt people’s joy at finding an excuse to vilify a good man. After all I see none of this bias against Donald with his very shady past.

Cruz did not send the offending tweet, but boy the cascade of slime makes you think he divorced his wife, or committed adultery or something!

This wasn’t underhanded in any way. Rubio tried to get things going but Ted’s camp was the most obvious. Mostly Trumpsters are the most offended. The Cruz campaign wasn’t just making things up.

Let me see if I got this right. It's OK to compare Carson to a child molester, but it's not OK to re-tweet a CNN story about Carson going to Florida? That's quite convoluted.

The bottom line here is that if Trump had done this, you would be applauding him, saying that he's a fighter and he's in it to win. But when Cruz does it, the hypocrisy kicks in.
