In this campaign, Donald Trump is the only one that steps up to a podium day after day with no apparent script. No teleprompters. He may unfold a sheet of paper with his own notes. I doubt that even his handlers (if he has them) know exactly what he is going to say that night. He lurches from one subject to the next. He does repeat the same phrases a lot like "We are going to build a wall" but you never know what direction he is going to head in. Each speech is completely different than the others. As a result, these speeches are never boring and while they often exceed an hour in length, the audience is riveted to every word.
That all said, critics of Trump use this against him.
“I doubt that even his handlers (if he has them) know exactly what he is going to say that night.”
They would have to be some ‘handlers’ if they advise him to say things like “tell them to go —— themselves”.
But I still want to know on everything he says he will do, HOW? He will build the wall - where will he get the money? He will deport all 11M illegals (probably closer to 20M), but HOW (he says good management, but that is not a plan)? He will place a large tariff on this or that country, but HOW? He will replace obamacare with something "great" that "everyone will love" - HOW and with what?
Unless he is planning to be the dictator in chief, I want to know HOW. Good management and good negotiating only goes so far. Especially with the Demoncrats in the Senate able to block everything (unless he is talking about negotiating with them).
