Nothing will happen to Hillary. She will not be indicted.

That's right. The idea that an indictment is around the corner is mainly wishful thinking.

She made it through multiple congressional hearings on Benghazi. Indicting her for that would be like indicting George W. Bush or Condoleeza Rice (or Bill Clinton) for 9/11.

Gen. Petraeus was indicted for the way he treated classified material, but what he did appears to have been much more serious, keeping a large volume of top secret material unsecured and then actively sharing it.

So far it sounds like it was technically legal for Hillary to have the private email server and no emails have come out that were classified at the time she received them. Nothing is going to happen unless this turns into a much stronger case for prosecutors.

Hillary, is that you?

What I have read is that at least one of the emails that the government will not release contains information identifying foreign operatives working for U.S. intelligence agencies. Such information is the most guarded of secrets and must be presumed classified until expressly declassified.

I also recall that Hillary herself emailed one of her aides and instructed them to remove classification markings from a document and to send it unsecured. That is pretty convincing evidencing that Hillary intentionally gathered classified information on her UNSECURED server. Had you or I done this, we would already be in a cell awaiting trial.

Petraeus was not indicted. The way his case was handled points the way to an outcome for Hillary. although I can’t see a misdemeanor charge for her or Willie if the tax evasion is exposed.

It’s good to read that the White House has panicked.
