So crucify me for believing in my candidate. Cruz’s father didn’t bequeath him $200 million dollars.
What have you done to help Don Trump besides stinking up this forum?
So now we get an idea of what is bothering you about Donald Trump. His father was successful in the private sector and passed seed money along to Donald. Using you numbers, Donald Trump turned $200 million into $10 billion in the private sector. That makes Donald Trump a crass capitalist who is unworthy to join the club of the ruling class. Ted Cruz who apparently has a net worth of $3.5 million that he has acquired in “public service” is worthy to join the club even though noone currently in the club’s leadership likes him.
When Trump's father died, his estate was worth $250 Million, which was dived amongst his wife and THREE of his FOUR children!
When Trump wanted to start out on his own, in Manhattan, his father loaned him ONE MILLION DOLLARS. That's it and from that, he amassed the fortune he now has.
OTOH, Teddy has made some slick deals, with an old pal, in real estate in the Caribbean, which he...oopppppsssssssie... forgot to tell the FEC about....again.
Just to set the record straight, Trumps' father died in 1999. Trump was a billionaire by the early 80s. Trumps' father loaned Trump 1 million dollars in 1970 and Trump turned that into the 10 billion he has today.
