Sorry, but Frau Merkel is doing a lot more damage to Europe than Putin could ever dream of.
But she's doing it more out of liberal naivety/dopiness. KGB/FSB Putin is deliberately trying to collapse the economic systems there and elsewhere and create a situation of instability and chaos in order to more easily take those countries, many of which are former Soviet states.
