Missed one thing. When businesses fail, the socialist nationalizes them. When all businesses are nationalized, the country has entered into communism. And that is the ultimate goal of all socialists/communists/progressives/democrats.

I can’t watch that movie. I was a Soviet Area Studies major and I had to read about that period. Can’t even listen to the theme song. Too sad.
It should be required viewing in every public school.
