John Kasich: I'm a good middle ground between Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders
The Week ^ | February 8, 2016 | Jeva Lange

A possibly very confused voter at a John Kasich town hall in Windham, New Hampshire, wanted to know why she should vote for the Ohio governor in the "Democratic primary" — and Kasich, a Republican, didn't correct her. The question did not seem to be a slip of the tongue, either: The voter said she was having a hard time deciding between Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, and John Kasich in the "Democratic primary" and wanted to know why Kasich should have her vote.

Technically, he is not an OK governor.
An OH governor? Well, only because somebody else wasn’t.

“I’ve been stunned at the predictions that Kasich is heading for a strong 2nd place performance in NH. Not sure what any Republican could see in him.”

NH has open primaries. The dims who do not vote for hiLIARy/heartbern will vote for Kasich and then Trump as a last resort.

Sounds pretty unappetizing to me.

If that is the case Mr. John Kasich, I suggest you switch parties and run as a Democrap. They need some good RINO moderate to give the two socialists/Marxists some semblance of balance.

What pray tell is a “democratic socialist”? The history of the 20th century teaches us that your flavors of socialists are Fascist, National Socialist aka Nazi’s & finally Marxist Leninist aka communists. They are all totalitarian & lead to lots of folks winding up in camps as slave labor or open mass graves.

NH has an open primary, so Democrat voters who don’t like either Hillary or Bernie can cross over to vote for Kasich. It’s not too surprising that the most liberal GOP candidate is cultivating that—just a little surprising that he’s so open about it.
