Bush super PAC poll has Jeb in third, Marco in fifth

With just hours to go until primary votes are cast here, a new poll conducted by Jeb Bush’s super PAC finds him moving into third place.

The poll, which was conducted after the end of Saturday night's debate and concluded before the start of the Super Bowl on Sunday evening, shows Donald Trump with a wide lead over the field with 29 percent. John Kasich follows with 14 percent, followed by Bush at 12 percent. Ted Cruz, the winner of the Iowa caucuses, notches 10 percent.

The one-day survey of 300 likely New Hampshire voters found Marco Rubio at just 9 percent following his widely panned performance in the debate. The Florida senator came under withering attack from Chris Christie, who cast him as unfit and unprepared for the Oval Office. Christie trails Rubio with 8 percent.

The figures were provided by a Right to Rise donor who had been briefed on them. The pro-Bush group has retained Public Opinion Strategies, a prominent Republican polling firm, to conduct its survey research.

I was just watching NBC Nightly News, and they basically gave Rubio a free 5 minute slot to plug himself! On the evening B4 the vote?

Ok, maybe not 5 minutes, but I cannot remember when I’ve seen any candidate get that much time on the evening news, the night before an important vote. Trump, the frontrunner, got about 4 seconds.

Rubio IS partially right* about Obama, and it’s a point that needs to be driven home, but, the MSM must really be in the tank for Rubio.

*It’s more nuanced - Obama is POLITICALLY very competent, in pushing ideas that are pragmatically incompetent for the good of the country or most of its people. OTOH, those ideas are good for the government & establishment gaining power and control... until it all blows up or collapses, that is.

Good idea with the tag line explaining the handle.
ScottWalkerforPresident also had an unfortunate screen name before he got Zotted.
I wonder if there is a way to change it?

I’ve wondered about that myself (getting my screenname changed). I’ve seen a few vanity posts/requests, and the general consensus is to ask the mods. I’m not aware of any that have been changed, though.

I suppose I *could* just start a new handle. But boy howdee, around this place, new handles - especially in an election year - get it far worse than those of us who chose unfortunate screen names many moons in the past.

You are right about that.
Being a Noob gets one a lot of scrutiny and sometimes abuse.
Your tag line provides adequate cover.
If you are serious about changing it, I’d suggest a FReepmail directly to Jim Robinson.
