The one in New Hampshire was sent by a group calling itself Public Policy Matters, using a post office box in Manchester, N.H. No political action committee by that name is registered either in New Hampshire or in Federal Election Commission files.

I agree these mailings tacky. I used to be a mail carrier here in Northern Virginia and the closer it got to election day, the number of political mailings would increase and the vicious level would rise. We had the son of a crazed minister running for Sheriff a few years ago and his supporters would mail these out. He lost to the “I” incumbent.
