I didn't watch any part of the SuperBowl. For one, I didn't care to.

It must have had a lot of controversial stuff. Here ya go.

I didn’t either... I had not heard anything about this until you posted. Absolutely despicable and degrading, mostly to themselves, but also to sports and to the USA. It’s incredulous that an anti-social performance enshrining violence would be approved for an important national event. If this is normal halftime entertainment, our society is much further gone than I realized. Isn’t this an embarrassment to us in front of the world?

Beyonce comes out here to Hawaii , stays like a queen in the most expensive accommodations at the 4 Seasons , drives around in a top down Jeep , to have a great little holiday in the place in America with the very fewest black people . She would not feel safe to hang out like that anywhere her own people were numerous . She would have masses of body guards , dark tinted bullet proof limos , and quick stealthy in & outs . She is such a hypocrite . One of the imperial black people in this country who live a total double standard .

I watched it and didn’t know that it was about one thing or another...shows how out of the loop I am. I did like the multi-colored umbrellas and the psychodelic colors. But then again...We won’t go there.

My thinkingis that the half time show should feature the winning high school marching band or something. Or maybe the top two bands and let them have a march off of some sorts because the half time show had nothing to do with football...just a lot of jumping around and what not. In the beginning there was some idjit with rainbows alll over...okay I get the gay thing....

What I don’t understand is why can’t ordinary folks just enjoy colors anymore without the colors have to be some sort of political/social statement? sigh....

THE half-time routine saw dancers in an X formation, an apparent tribute to activist Malcolm X. He opposed Martin Luther King's non-violent approach to US integration and wanted his followers to create their own nation, free of whites.

Certainly Malcolm's approach is more popular these days.

I have not watched or have cared to watch a Super Bowl since the late 70’s. I heard about the halftime show from the latest Superbowl and was not the least bit surprised that it was very racist...it fits our time under the current regime.

It includes attacks on police brutality and cops response to 2005 Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

I thought the cops did a great job of disarming the rich white neighborhoods. /s

Meanwhile Phil Anselmo (Singer for Pantera, Superjoint Ritual, and other metal bands) is being raked over the coals for a stupid outburst on stage.

But DeRay Mckesson, leader of the Black Lives Matter movement, called its shout-outs to Michael Jackson and activist Malcolm X excellent.

Why the black community continues to lionize a pedophile is beyond me.

Cops: Hold the NFL & CBS accountable!

By perpetuating these anti-cop "artists", both the league and the network are giving tacit (if not explicit) approval of their message.

Seems like, as in the case of Whitney Houston, a black female entertainer of such immense God given talent leaves their religious roots to pursue the fortune and fame of the world, and to corrupt their soul in the process. They seem to go from light to darkness.

To be fair, whatever she sang at the half-time show was completely incomprehensible. The only way a viewer would have known what she was singing would have been if they were already familiar with the song. I don’t care for Beyoncé, so I wouldn’t know lyrics to any of her songs.

Coldplay and Bruno Mars were good, but I think they could have come up with a better female lead singer. Despite Beyoncé being there, the half time show was pretty good.

Grr... that “é” is supposed to be the accented e.
