Too late. If the military accepts transgenders then the rule has already been changed. Men who think they are women must register. Or is it women who think they are men? Well, either way, the rule HAS been changed and consistency must be applied.
Same goes for the change in allowing women in combat. Premises have consequences. Just as so many were in denial that Lawrence vs. Texas would inevitably lead to Obergefell vs. Hodges as Scalia said it would, many of the premises for women registering for selective service have ALREADY BEEN ESTABLISHED.

Some good normal young woman being forced into the army to satisfy the insanity of the left or the political schemes of the right is abhorrent. No sane parent would let his daughter go into the immoral snake pit the military has become.
